Program Requirements

We’re excited to hear from you! To get started, please ensure you meet these basic qualifications.

  • Be aged 18 to 35 years old
  • Able to be au pair for a minimum period of 6 months
  • Have experience and references working with children
  • Be flexible, friendly and open minded
  • Have a driver’s license (preferred but not essential)
  • Be a non-smoker
  • Must be at least a high school graduate
  • Have a clean criminal background

How To Appy

Along with your completed Application form, you should provide:

  • Resume/CV
  • References with preferably at least two (2) childcare references
  • A friendly ‘Dear Family’ letter, giving details about yourself, your family, childcare experiences, hobbies, etc.
  • Copies of your diploma (high school, college etc.) and any other training or recognition certificates
  • Photocopy of your passport
  • Police check (from your local police station)
  • Photos (we suggest photos of yourself with children and family, doing activitiies/hobbies, etc.).
